About

It was 2012 and after years in corporate and wanting to focus on what would awaken something in me (and hopefully in others), I started Uppercase Press. I was happy with finding beauty in a small piece of paper and hoped to share it with as many people as possible.

Uppercase Press started as a letterpress studio, offering letterpress workshops and custom printing. The love for letterpress was rooted in my family. My grandfather was a letterpress print maker back in the day when bus tickets were letterpress printed! How incredible!

But the financial instability of the artistic life was hard to keep up with, and I went back to corporate. But art is a need, and seeking is inevitable.
Recently, I started drawing. At first, I'm not sure if it was a whisper or a mistake. I've always looked for a deep explanation in art, and for the first time all I could see was beauty, and that was enough. What a relief!
